Most of my adult life I have had some kind of back pain. I do have arthritis, osteoporosis and some degenerated discs in my back. For several years, medication, physical therapy and chiropractic adjustments have helped. About 2 1/2 year ago I took a bad fall, injured and bruised my left buttocks and side area badly. After some time, what was thought to be just a bad bruise continued to still cause a lot of pain and affected my walking. I was told I had Spinal Stenosis. I chose to have the epidural shot that for eleven months was great. Then the pain started again and I had a hard time walking... I came in (The Morris Spinal Stenosis and Disc Center) for probably one of the best complete examinations I have ever had for my back and body structure. I chose to do the treatments... I am feeling so much better now. I will probably always have some back pain because of my history, but the stenosis is no longer bothering me...I am not taking any pain medication... I feel so fortunate that I discovered Dr. Morris. I have referred them to others and I am so thankful for the help that they have given me. --Barbara Gasparian If you're reading this, you probably have low back pain, seen more than one doctor, and still haven't found an answer. If your condition was simple, any of the treatments would have worked; BUT, sometimes the problem isn't simple. You start to worry that you'll never be pain free again. Will you ever be able to play golf, run, lift weights or just sit without pain again? Medication, injections and surgery have been recommended, but they have serious side effects and don't fix the problem. (read on for the details...) Let's first look at the CAUSES of low back pain (see the column to the right).
Of course these aren't the only causes of back pain, just the more common ones we see in our clinic. Our center specializes in getting to the bottom of the difficult cases (even those with unsuccessful surgery). We treat the problem, not just the symptoms! Most patients see significant improvement within two weeks. Luckily we live in an age when most serious disc and spinal stenosis injuries can be treated more successfully and safely WITHOUT surgery. We have the leading Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression Facilities available. This technology has helped thousands of people return to their "normal" lives without the risks of surgery. Not all conditions will be helped, so a thorough spinal decompression analysis must be performed to assess your potential benefit. But, if you qualify for treatment, it is the safest and most effective approach available especially for many cases of SPINAL STENOSIS AND DISC HERNIATION.
